- Holistic curriculum with incredible network Strong, comprehensive didactic curriculum combined with excellent preceptorships. I felt prepared for certification exam and well connected to apply for post graduate jobs. - Alum
- Good intensive program with bright cohort Mostly good instructors and teachers, but had a few poor instructors in key topics (eg., pharmacology). Decent help finding preceptorships. Bright cohort of students. - Alum
- Light on the Sciences Finding a preceptorship was not an issue most of the time, except for the first semester. Eventually I got a preceptorship and was able to easily complete my hours. The program is HEAVY on theory (population health, leadership, epidemiology) and LIGHT on medical sciences and pharmacology. There were hardly any medical science classes, except for pharmacology and advanced pathophysiology. There was no class on how to read and interpret labs. There was virtually no case study practice, except for very occasional. It was a very basic, basic program that cost about $200,000. Now, I am working in an acute rehab setting and have had to learn to manage acutely ill patients--something BC's program in no way prepared me to do, but I am doing it nonetheless. If I had it to do over again, I would not attend BC. - Alum
- Amazing Program, Job Opportunities This program greatly prepared me for NP boards. I felt ready for the exam and passed easily! The clinical placements were well thought out and the preceptors were always a good match. I actually ended up applying for a job in primary care at one of the locations I had a clinical rotation at and have been working there for over a year! I would highly recommend the accelerated MSN to DNP program to anyone interested in pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner. - Alum
- BC PMHNP Program Program prepared me well for the cert. exam. I wish there was more variety for preceptorship. I wish there was bit more classroom time dedicated to medical billing. Most of the classes were relevant and applicable to my practice even now a few years out from the program. - Alum
