4 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- The program prepared me in some ways I had to decrease my work schedule from full time (5 days per week) to prn (2 days per week) in order to be able to accomodate classwork and clinical hours. Therefore, I lost my insurance and benefits during that time. The program did not help me find preceptors, which was very stressful. Otherwise, I did like the program, although I wish the material had focused less on research and role development and more on actual medical diagnoses, differential diagnoses, and procedures. - Alum
- TN Tech FNP Great program for the value it costs. Affordable way to get your advanced degree while continuing to work full time. Professors are helpful and willing to turn more into a Hybrid type program if willing for meetings and extra hands-on labs. - Alum
- Overview Overall, TN Tech prepared me well for being a FNP. Only struggle I had was securing preceptor placement. However, it has been over 8 years since I graduated so they may have better options in place for students now. The professors were all great to work with during my time there in the program. - Alum
- Review This program requires you to be very self motivated as there is little support. Minimal help with preceptor alignment. No help with postgrad job lineup. - Alum
