It was many years ago, but I feel it was worth it
My preceptor's were arranged through the system at that time. I was able to choose from a few that the school of nursing provided.

Excellent choice for FT working adults
I worked full time while attending on the weekends to obtain my graduate degree. Loved UWM as they understood working adults obtaining a graduate degree. The most important graduate program advantage was that you connected with your advisor early in the program (before I started the first class) enabling you to settle on and consider the conceptual framework of your dissertation/graduate final project logical and organized.

Efficient
The program was efficient and streamlined. A lot of work and I am unclear yet if the DNP addition has been worth it for me financially, but I am still glad I did it and I was very happy with UW-Milawiukee.
