• good school I felt St. Catherine's University was a good school. They were sensitive about balancing between life, work, and school. They set up preceptor locations that were within a 50-mile drive from my home, which eased my stress. The instructors were educated and always at my disposal if I had questions. I got a career within one month of graduating. - Alum
• Great program St. Kate's was a wonderful master's degree program. The coursework was strenuous, but it prepared me for my career. The program found my preceptor, so there was little stress looking for a preceptor.All around it was a fabulous program. I'm proud to say I graduated from St. Kates. - Alum
• Highly recommend St. Catherine University St. Catherine University prepared me in my role as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I felt well supported throughout the program. I also feel that they really care about their students and want them to succeed. - Alum
• Provided Required Degree/Certification I completed the program many years ago. Unfortunately, my program was a bit disorganized as they were making some changes at the time, and I did not have the best experience. Placements were difficult to obtain at times and required significant driving. It was challenging to work while completing the program. - Alum
• Took care of preceptorship placement Overall, adequately prepared me for practice, but overall felt too much of the program focus was on theory and nursing practice/ethics issues rather than medical knowledge. Had to teach myself many things on my own to prepare for my exam and real-life practice. Maybe things have changed since 2010. In the end I would still do it again as I have loved my career as an NP. May have not chosen the private school price tag if I could do it again. - Alum
