- Excellent College Alverno College prepared me to become a leader in health care. And they will also be there to support you after graduation. - Alum
- MSN Alverno Loved the in-person classes. Some instructors didn’t seem to be much assistance or responsive to emails which was frustrating with amount your spending on tuition. - Alum
- MSN at Alverno Alverno’s MSN was in its beginnings when I decided to go back. I had gotten my BSN from there as well. Most of the staff were supportive and the course content was relevant. The program was easy to fit into my life while working full time - Alum
- Alverno is amazing I started at a different University in Wisconsin that was online only. As an adult learner, I found this difficult. I needed the structure of in person education. Alverno took me in on transfer, it was a night and day difference! Their kindness, guidance and amazing instructors really helped me to succeed with honors! - Alum
- AGPCNP and AGACNP I went to Alverno for my undergraduate degree and loved the sense of community and how prepared I felt going into my RN role. The cost was reasonable when I first started (2017). When I was starting my clinical rotations, they had added on the acute care program. I was a crazy person and decided to do BOTH tracks because I thought it would be beneficial for what I wanted out of my career. COVID also happened during this time so outside of it being a “new” program there were COVID issues too. I would say it was exceptionally hard to find a preceptor (especially in primary care) and Alverno does NOT help you at all. I would assume it’s so you have to add on another semester and pay more money in the long run. I was cold emailing hundreds of people well in advance of my clinicals and I’m shocked none of them bailed at the last minute due to job changes, personal reasons, etc. I had to move to weekend program and drop my FTE to finish my MSN. - Alum
