• I felt prepared to work as FNP after graduation I recommend FIU FNP Program because if the rigorous aspect and the enrichment of the curriculum. My clinical rotations experience was amazing and I learned a ton. I was placed with great preceptors at no additional costs. It was an overall great learning experience. - Alum
• I was able to find my own preceptorships places an I was able to secure my own preceptors and places of percepting. This was because I use my own circle of friends from the community and in the church. Most of it was word of mouth from my prior encounters that led me and paved the way for me to gain a preceptorship. I also returned the favor and precepted many FIU students never got any credit for it, but I precepted many. I continue to be available to have student with in my organization at Baptist Health. I am happy that I pursued my DNP when I did at that time, the program required 42 credits. It was long and tedious, but I got through it. I went to school on a part-time basis one semester one class the other semester I would take two classes and I continued like that until I was finish. - Alum
• Most complete nursing program in the State of Flor FIU has the most comprehensive nursing curriculum in the State of Florida and within the USA. The standards to enter the program and to continue the program are high . This is the main reason that FIU is listed as one of the top nursing school in the nation. - Alum
• Very good training for preparing NP position. It was intense program, but I learned a lot. Class is face to face. That was what I preferred. I could get better understanding when attending the classes in person. Did not online class. University also placed practice locations for students, which saved my time and took off the stress to find preceptors by my own. - Alum
• Accelerated Course I did accelerated BSN and Master's program. For most part had good teachers and was provided with good preparation. - Alum
