• Excellent Program I attended the program in 2003 and 2004. Dr. Leslie Higgins was phenomenal. I am now a program director, and I implement a lot of what I learned from her in academia and practice. I was very well prepared for my first job, and the imperative of life long learning was instilled in me. I have very fond memories of my time at Belmont with both faculty and students. - Alum

• An excellent graduate nursimg program Belmont prepared me well to pass the certification exam and adapt to my new role in practice. I was working full time as RN in a private specialty practice while going to Belmont part time. My employers were very supportive of my pursuit of the Master's Degree. This was helpful in finding local preceptors. Belmont also offered assistance in applying for a fellowship which was a tremendous experience and allowed me to work in a community where I was not previously known. The fellowship was a great experience and allowed me to grow to a higher level of confidence. Belmont's scheduling of classes helped tremendously in allowing me to continue to work full time which was necessary for me to support my family. I retired one year ago after 50+ years in nursing with the last half of that being as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Going back to school to advance my education at Belmont was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I am grateful every day. - Alum
