9 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Found my own I was able to secure my own preceptorships. Working in the community I had the contacts to make that happen. Other students in my class did not have those resources available to them - Alum
- Heavy clinical We had more clinical hours then most programs. I feel that this actually helped prepare us better. - Alum
- Great faculty, okay progam Overall, the program was good. I just wish I would have learned more skills and had more help in finding preceptors. - Alum
- I personally looked for preceptors I personally looked for preceptors, the University did not help. - Alum
- Best career decision I had already planned to move forward with my education in the master's FNP program before I had completed my BSN at the Orvis School of Nursing at UNR. I completed 2 years in practice as an RN before starting the FNP program which was invaluable in laying a foundation to aid in my advanced studies. The program was designed by 3 paces that allowed one to work while studying that worked perfect for me. I was even able to take a year off when I had a baby and come back to finish. - Alum
