6 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- FNP program FNP program that was manageable with a full time job. It was all in person but good clinicals and engaged professors. Met great people and instructors who are now my colleagues. - Alum
- Overall experience Overall good experience with the choice of school and the program - Alum
- Pace University NP program is one of the best I commuted to PACE Pleasantville from CT to complete my MSN while working full time as a nurse. It was about 65-75min each way and that gave me transition time to clear my head from my busy work day to prepare in my head for my class and then the evening commute to clear my head from class info to prepare in my head for my home routine and next day routine. The professors were so amazing and supportive. There were some semesters or classes that were challenging to keep up with while working full time but I knew that would be the case so I saved some time off from my work to use each semester. I was fortunate to qualify for some tuition reimbursement from employer which was a great financial help. I was much more prepared to pass my board certification exam the first attempt and more prepared for my first job compared to some colleagues who studied elsewhere. - Alum
- I was able to find positions in my field. Interna, I had a great learning experience at Pace University and have been very successful in my career as a Family nurse practitioner. I passed the certification exam with good scores. - Alum
- Good if you like DIY This was a very self directed program after the first year. The workload is manageable but it’s really up to you how much you get out of it. They did do all the work to get you preceptorship but none of mine were all that good. I felt low to moderately prepared to practice independently but do feel I am an excellent NP so maybe I’m selling the program short! - Alum
