- APSU FNP post masters Majority of the course was online which was nice. The study material for the certification examination was horrible. The university uses APEA and does not align well with the FNP-C or FNP-BC examination. It was honestly a waste of time doing monotonous questions and attending in person lectures. Buy the Leik book on Amazon and use the online resources. I promise, regardless of what you learn at APSU or really any university…you will pass first time. - Alum
- Great program with great teachers. Teachers were great and program delivered. Preceptor help was great and everyone passed the certification. - Alum
- APSU! APSU is a program that work for working nurses. Best ever - Alum
- Great experience at Austin Peay I had a great experience with Austin Peay. I worked part time through the program, but my job was flexible so if I needed time off, I was able to take off. I had to find my own preceptors which could be a challenge but overall it was an amazing experience. I felt well prepared when I graduated. Preceptorship is pivotal in your success.I would definitely do it again if I had to go back - Alum
- FNP program Overall, I would recommend this program. I only felt less prepared in pharmacology once I began to practice on my own. I found all of my own preceptors through my experience as a nurse in the hospital system. I had a job offer from all 3 of my clinical sites. - Alum
