Excellent school and instructors
I attended MSMC for my FNP. I live the school and was incredibly prepared to practice. I went back for a post master’s in PMHNP. The instructor was not only an expert in her field she made learning engaging and fun add to that her , compassionate nature and she was the best instructor I have ever had.

Needed updating when I attended
Course load was normal. I was able to work full time while attending the program.
I felt some courses were unnecessary (ie nursing theory) and would have liked more focus on actual nursing.
At that time the courses were full semesters and totally in person. It would have been a lot better if the courses were hybrid or online and lasted 6-8 weeks.
There was absolutely no assistance in finding preceptors which was difficult and anxiety- provoking.

I worked full-time and pursued my degree part-time. The class times were convenient for those with families and careers.
All of my preceptorships had to be found on my own. The college had zero placements for ob/gyn and pediatrics.
Certification preparation was completed independently via in-person conference.

I worked full time during school. Had to take time off for clinicals to get the required clinical hours. Learned a great deal and became very confident in my skills. I would do it all again!
The review course was just what I needed to help me pass my boards first time around.
