- The NP PROGRAM It was good but stress out during looking for preceptor. It was convenient for work and job. I like the in class because I felt like I will learn more compared to on line classes. The subjects are duable and instructors are great. It was so fun during my term because they made it wonderful class. - Alum
- A degree I can appreciate... Securing a preceptorship was difficult. The school did provide a list of preceptors across different counties and states-which was nice. Having the list was helpful but I was in school during the COVID-19 era, so many clinics were hesitant to allow students. Overall, the professors were very helpful and supportive, despite this hardship. Even in the midst of many challenges, I can appreciate this degree more than the others I possess. I had to work hard for it. Failure was not an option for me, and Charles R. Drew University helped me to achieve my goals. I would recommend them to anyone with a goal and the determination to see it through. - Alum
- CDU Review Excellent school for getting your post masters certificate. Prepared me for my role as FNP. Good scheduling for working students like me and they give enough learning materials to prep for boards - Alum
- Excellent The professors/ ancillary staff and the school dean all want to see you succeed and I believe they do an excellent job of preparing students for both the exam but also the real world diseases and medical conditions we are to treat. - Alum
- It was a new program back then I was a 3rd cohort and a fairly new program then. The FNP admin were very supportive, while the actual PMHNP Program director was acting in a supervisory role and not much of a big help. I had to look for my own preceptor and pay my preceptor. Was able to find a preceptor with my own classmates' leads. The last semester was a bit of a review but not much compared to other PMHNP schools. The only thing I liked in CDU was the standardized person—can't compare that to preparing us for advanced physical examination. - Alum
