5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Great professors I graduated with my MSN-FNP in 2018. The program was great, as well as the professors. Clinical sites were assigned to me, so no need to look for your own placements. Very serious University, strict admission requirements and curriculum. Highly recommended program. - Alum
- Prepared me well for the transition to NP This program prepared me for the transition from Nurse to NP. Clinical experiences were varied and relevant to the program. Support was available throughout the entire program and I was extremely prepared for board exams as well as my new role. - Alum
- Minority acceptance Not a sensitive environment in 1998, but not hostile. I had to make lots of friends and not a lot of mentors or faculty assistance available - Alum
- Work as cardiology NP It’s great to work with a teaching institution with Cardiology, where I could teach patients how to help them selves by modifying lifestyles along with medication. - Alum
- The clinical coordinator alone was enough $0 paid to find any preceptors, unlike with some other programs. That alone made things worth it to not have that stress of hunting people down. We got not help studying for boards, we were on our own. And no help with career placement. But the didactic coursework alone, I felt prepared. Even more so with clinicals. But you’ll be on your own for the job hunt after graduation. - Alum
