5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- UCF is one of the best nursing programs in the nat I always felt challenged to do my best and think independently. Most of the professors were very supportive. As with most NP programs at the time, we had to find our own preceptors. That was the least favorable feature, but everyone found a place to further their education through practice - Alum
- Excellent education UCF prepared me well for clinical practice. The professors were dedicated and approachable. - Alum
- I received a fantastic education! I cannot speak highly enough of the quality education I received at UCF, for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing. I continue to attend while completing my post-masters DNP degree. I highly recommend to all considering a FNP program. - Alum
- Preceptor I worked during my education. It was quite a load, but doable. I found my own preceptors. This was done through knowing people in the area and previous students. I loved my primary preceptor. He was wonderful. I passed the certification exam with ease and no outside prep course. - Alum
- Community focus lacks important skills Overall program was good, but I felt that since it was geared towards rural care, it lacked horses or skills, such as suturing, reading x-rays, and things that would be common for those of us working in a hospital or a clinic which most of us did. No help finding preceptors. - Alum
