21 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- positive experience I recommend networking and connecting early on in the program to find preceptors. - Alum
- Excellent Program The program prepared me well for my career as a nurse practitioner. - Alum
- Difficult I worked full time nights during my schooling which was tough but manageable. I struggled the most with finding preceptors, which I had to do on my own after the first few clinicals. That caused me the most stress of all and I wish I’d had more help. But I felt well prepared to be an NP and passed my certification exam on the first try! - Alum
- Solid but typical The program itself was very well organized, it was not overwhelming. I felt like I received appropriate education on everything.I needed to pass the boards. Of course, as is typical, you have to find your own preceptors which in my opinion it's ridiculous - Alum
- Passed nursing in 1988, passed FNP in 2019. Worked full time ICU RN and home maker during the program. I was able to find preceptors by requesting doctors and PA”s who came to ICU. Passed with 4.0 GPA. Working as an NP in a primary care clinic owned by hospital systems. - Alum
