The classes were brief, mostly focusing on writing the thesis and paper. A class on Coding and the importance of diagnosis with ICD codes would have been very beneficial!
I learned more watching youtube videos than what the classes taught me! Women's Health was very lacking.
I learned more my first 6 months of being an NP! The art of diagnosis with codes so insurance and other health professionals understand the pt's issues were completely self-taught.
