- Good program, need more varied clinicals This was a good program but would have greatly benefited in having even just a one day rotation in ER, OR, derm, GI, GU, etc. I ONLY felt prepared for family practice. The capstone was not very good use of time and effort. Using the above rotations would be so much more helpful. I appreciated the quiz program that helped us prepare for the board. I did feel ready overall. It was a struggle to find a preceptor. I think it would have been better to have clinical with 2 different people/settings, but settled for the same because I couldn’t find one. - Alum
- School Willing to look at all aspects within the program and guided towards your Needs and qualifications - Alum
- I was in the inaugural class There definitely were some glitches being in the inaugural class, but the faculty at UNLV were very supportive and wonderful. Getting a DNP was a personal goal and did not change anything in my career. - Alum
- UNLV FNP program They didn’t help with any preceptor placements. I did have some awesome teachers and some who weren’t as good. Overall, it was ok for an online program - Alum
- Good school Having access to an in person university instead of just an online program was beneficial. The labs provided were helpful, teachers were available, but most of my preparation and things I used in my career came from my Clinicals and preceptors. - Alum
