4 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Outstanding program Highly competitive admission process. Don’t bother applying without 4.0 GPA. Small class size…personal interaction with instructors, great clinical opportunities. - Alum
- Missouri State University FNP Program I had no problem securing my preceptorships. I was fortunate and did not need to work while I was attending MSU. I was published twice while attending MSU along with one of my Professors. All of my Professors were great. I was well prepared by this program to pass my FNP exam. I secured a job immediately following graduation. I am proud of the education and hands on experience I had at MSU! - Alum
- Great experience! Since I completed the MSN-FNP program, the program has experienced growth and evolved as technology, practice guidelines and resource availability have changed. However, I found the small class size allowed a connectedness between students and faculty, more individualized learning, etc. I appreciated the block structuring of classes (one day a week) which allowed for more flexibility outside of class for clinical, work and family. The program prepared me well for boards. The only struggle I had was locating preceptors. - Alum
- Missouri state grad Missouri state FNP program had excellent leadership that placed me in good standing to start my career. I felt fortunate to have such excellent mentors and clinical preceptors that I did not have to seek out. - Alum
