UMMC FNP Program My teachers worked with me through all the pitfalls of being a working mother and wife while attending NP school. They secured a preceptor for me once when I was in need. They had us attend a BON meeting that prepared us to navigate our careers after graduating. Our instructors were knowledgeable and kind. - Alum
My Experience at UMMC I secured one preceptor from a hospital I was already employed at and continued to work part time as I completed clinical training. I was also able to secure some of my pediatric and adolescent clinical hours through a UMMC clinic with the help of my UMMC program director. The BSN-DNP program prepared me well to pass my certification exam and the professors provided me with excellent recommendations after graduation. I recommend this program to anyone who values quality education and clinical training. - Alum

ADN to MSN I chose UMMC originally because they were in state and I would not have to get a bachelor's degrees before starting my NP program. The program and instructors were great. They were helpful throughout the program. I would definitely recommend UMMC, from start to finish even as a high school graduate for you BSN. Great program. Lots of resources. - Alum
