  • Family Nurse Practitioner Master's Program Securing a preceptorship for my Master’s in Family Nurse Practice at Howard University was a pivotal experience, facilitated by recommendations from both my professors and my personal physician, who were exceptional mentors. Balancing work and school were made possible by utilizing my vacation time for classes, allowing me to fully engage in my education. I am proud to be the only student in the 1996 cohort to choose and write a thesis. Dr. Philipose, a passionate advocate for her students, played a crucial role in my journey, and I am grateful that many of my supporters and I remain connected today.
