Preceptorship
My experience in NP school is significantly different than today because of the number of FNP students I currently precept. It is very difficult for students to find preceptors.

Poor assistance with securing preceptorship. Fair
I was able to continue with part time work. Preceptor hours with academic hours in person prevented full time work. This was at the beginning on NSU offering this program and there were some growing pains.

I loved the school and loved the professors. It was good in that it was a mixture of online and classroom. So you are not on campus daily. I did not work during time of going to school, I didn't think I could handle my school work and a job. However, there were students in my class who did have a part time job and made it fine. I felt I was very prepared for my certification exam. The one area that it was lacking at that time was I didn't feel that I got any support to find a job. AND... in the area I lived at that time had 3 NP schools within 60 mile radius so the market was flooded with nps, I had a difficult time finding job.

It got me a degree
This program was poorly run and the help with securing a preceptor was a joke. They have ONE lady that is responsible for approving preceptor requests which took her MONTHS. I did not mind having to locate our own preceptor but when there are none that are already approved in my area I could not take the chance of having to go through this process again and again each semester bc I would have never finished the program. Course work was decent and doable with working part time. I do feel that they helped prepare for boards but not for career placement.
