Ratings & Reviews §
7 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Rigorous and well balanced program Very competitive acceptance meant you were learning with exceptionally motivated peers. All professors were extremely competent and excellent communicators. Our hospital and clinical experiences were top notch. We were constantly challenged with board level testing and studying the medical rationales behind the answers. Our learning lab was up to date with the latest technology. The program recruited high quality clinical preceptors that were so supportive and focused on improving our diagnostic skills. I was completely prepared for the Board exam and passed easily. I was hired into Family Practice by my final preceptor where I remain today nearly 25 years later. - Alum

- Good program I liked the program. I went during Covid so I missed out on a lot but still a good program - Alum
- UAH review I enjoyed my time at UAH. I feel like it prepared me well for the workforce. My only difficulty was securing a preceptor, but I know that is a national issue and not limited to my area. - Alum
- Preceptorship as ACNP in 2012 I arranged my preceptors through my job as an ER RN at the time with MDs/NPs that I had good relationships with from caring for their patients in the ER. I felt UAH prepared me for my first job as an NP, but similar to RN, you learn so much more once you are on the job, especially if specializing. - Alum
