- Great program I was an early NP student in 2003 and was lucky enough to be employed with a weekend option position. The course work was challenging but doable. We had staff available to assist us in obtaining preceptors and other professionals to check on us. I felt as prepared as I possible could be to take on the role that I had gone to graduate school for. - Alum
- More good than bad Ball State was entirely online and most didactics were discussion, reading, papers. They did not help in securing clinical sites, but for the most part, faculty was supportive and would be responsive to questions - Alum
- Ball state I am happy with my Ball State education and would go there again - Alum
- BSU review The FNP program at BSU was fine. You are required to find to different preceptors for each clinical experience and are not given any help, which creates a lot of stress. For the number of graduates, one would think they would have an alumni program to help further new student success in the clinical experience. - Alum
- My school review of Ball State University The school program was excellent; they were the first college in the US to have online classes. For an out-of-state student, the cost was reasonable. The IT department was superb, the same professors for online as in class. The only drawback was that they did not help with preceptors. I was lucky to have worked in a hospital for many years; I personally knew many physicians. My NP was Adult Medicine, so I chose five physicians, sent each a letter explaining my need, and all accepted. - Alum
