- Good program I was challenged by most classes and felt I learned a lot. Preceptors were not found for you - you had to secure them yourself. I was prepared for working as an FNP and was very prepared to pass certification exam. - Alum
- Great faculty! This is a great nurse practitioner program! I was able to continue working on weekends. However, securing a preceptor is a challenge for every nurse practitioner student. - Alum
- Graduated many years ago The university has changed I hear from when I went there. Half the instructors were kind & helpful but the other half did not support my having to do distance learning to be a mom, wife and pediatric nurse. I wouldn't be where I am today without Troy University having the set up that they did almost 20 years ago. - Alum
- Disappointing Basically read a book, write multiple papers and do exams. It felt like I needed to teach myself. I believe I recd more info from the review classes than I did in the actual school. I did live outside the county of where the school was but it was your responsibility to find your own preceptor. - Alum
- Great program! I have several coworkers that attended other programs within the state of Alabama. Hearing their complaints and concerns, I by far had a better experience. The professors were 100% on my side and willing to help in any way. - Alum
