5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- CBU is 4.5/5 for NP program The new sim lab is wonderful, and the professors are passionate. You will learn a lot if you are willing to. However, during my time, I had to find my own preceptors, so I recommend looking for preceptors ahead of time. Unfortunately, there are not many providers willing to teach you. CBU operates based on Christian values. They would not force you any Christian faith during the attend. Just expect many Christian students and professors around you. - Alum
- Well prepared. I felt like overall I was well per student and they didn’t emphasize the basics in order for me to become a very adept family nurse practitioner. I feel like the program was always looking out for the benefit of me, becoming a better healthcare provider rather than me just trying to pass for a grade. I do recommend the course to a lot of people who really need a good strong background and foundation in their healthcare practices. - Alum
- Proper training Great experience for this program. Proper training and very thorough on what is required to practice - Alum
- Experience Experienced some difficulty with finding preceptor placement for certain rotations, I had to self network and find some preceptors either through my RN network (hospital), friends and professors’ colleagues. Overall, program helped prepare me well for the exam. Professors are approachable and easy to talk to - Alum
