7 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Very disorganized program for NP Was supposed to be hybrid program but ended up being all online. Teachers are very disorganized. The syllabus was never updated between classes so unsure when things were due. I learned the most with the 2 day review coarse that was purchased by me when I graduated then I did my entire time at Bloomsburg. They also don’t help you in the least to find a preceptor. Thank goodness I have lots of friends in the medical field that could help me out. I do have to say at least it is cheaper than some of the other schools out there! - Alum
- Excellent brick and mortar program This program organized and set up all of my preceptorships in clinicals. Very high pass rate for boards. They require more clinical hours than the state mandate, but it prepared me well for my role. I appreciated the in person program, but I believe they now offer an online program as well. - Alum
- Bloomsburg University second time I went to bloom for nursing. it is a great program. it was a hybrid of both online and in person didactics. at the time, offered resources and study sessions. they were there to educate you and make you successful. some of the requirements regarding textbooks was a little too much and never used again. - Alum
- Ok program. Typical Small classes and helped with clinical placements which was great. Overall good experience— could provide some guidance on timelines of credentialing and jobs - Alum
- More than meets the eye Having graduated from a nationally known BS program I wasn’t sure what to expect from a smaller school. However, the educational experience was excellent. The curriculum was challenging and the faculty were superb. The advanced pharm and Dx and management courses were particularly outstanding… learned so much and they laid the foundation for a successful NP career I graduated nearly 15 yrs ago and hope the high level education is still there today - Alum
