3 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Love Christian based school During my time there. We had some amazing instructors who really wanted students to learn and succeed. I mean there was one who taught several classes that wasn’t that great but everyone else was amazing. Knowledgeable and experienced NPs. Considering we paid so much for our education, these instructors were fully aware and wanted us to have the best learning experience for our $$. One instructor definitely stood out from all and she became the director for a while but after I graduated I don’t think she stayed on too long after. Her team was amazing too. So helpful with the graduation and state paper work to make sure we had everything in order to take the national exam and obtain our license in a timely fashion. - Alum
- NP School I worked full-time while attending the NP program. This program is more cost-effective than most programs, as I paid about $32,000 in total for the whole 2-year program. You have to find your own clinical sites, though, which can be tough. I think most NP programs have nursing theory integrated into their program, something all NP programs should get rid of. We need more patho, pharm, and imaging interpretation training. I worked in the ICU as an NP and now am in CRNA school. What I have realized is you have to really self learn medicine. There was a ton of content assigned each week to read, so be ready to read and really figure out how to retain information. - Alum
- Decent program The program itself is not very rigorous in terms of clinical theory, as with many NP programs, more focus is on research and writing. A solid nursing background is a must. The main draw for the program is it caters to working adults, holding classes once a week in the evening; they also found clinical placements for those who don't have one. - Alum
