8 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Ambivalent -didactic was top notch and I feel there is not school that can compete -preparation for role as a working NP not so great -if you didn’t have your own personal mentor/preceptor (like a friend or coworker) you had to figure it out on your own - Alum
- Excellent program The program was rigorous but helped me to prepare for the future as an NP - Alum
- Excellent program Pittsburgh offered a very comprehensive program and I passed the certification exam with flying colors. I may have not been as well accepted as others because I was from out of state and my perception was that there was definitely a different attitude towards me because of it. As usual with all programs you are on your own with progression through the program and you set your own goals and pace. I have been completely on my own finding positions and some may find there are not that many jobs for NP's as graduates may have hoped for. - Alum
- University of Pittsburgh NP program This program is intense, but it was a great preparation for my career. I would recommend this as a great stepping stone towards a new fulfilling job. - Alum
- Excellent Education It was the number seven school for FNPs in the nation at the time. My professors were tough but fair. It wasn’t worth the cost of tuition and the student loans that I now have. - Alum
