• review Carlow University offers an excellent FNP master’s program for students in the greater Pittsburgh area. The curriculum is thorough, well-structured, and manageable for those balancing full-time employment. The program provides assistance with securing a preceptor; however, if the assigned placement is not the right fit, students are responsible for finding an alternative on their own. While it is natural to feel unprepared when starting a first role as a new graduate, I felt that Carlow’s program equipped me with the knowledge and clinical foundation I needed to transition confidently into practice. The tuition is also very reasonable compared to other programs in the region. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend Carlow’s FNP program to prospective students.
