4 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Fair value It was most difficult to secure preceptorship as there is not much available within 40 minute drive. The course itself was very disorganized at the time and did not prepare you for the certification exam well. One should definitely enroll in the fitzgerald course to help with exam prep. There were 1-2 good professors but there could have been more simulations, assignments and more course testing. - Alum
- Decent program Overall a solid program, however, challenges with preceptor placement. Only other concern is program is not as selective with applicants as they should be. - Alum
- Highly recommend. Very well-respected brick-and-mortar school in the northeast; known to be a “public ivy.” Program professors and administrators are very supportive. At the time that I was enrolled in the program (graduated in 2019), they secured clinical placements for the students and there was no extra charge for preceptorships. I felt well-prepared to practice on graduation, and passed my boards first time. - Alum
- BU NP good training Classes were very good with the exception of the statistics, not because of content but because of the non-nursing instructor. Otherwise classes and coursework was reasonable and manageable with a full time job. - Alum
