I enjoyed Elms regarding clinical sites/experience. I also had a great experience with my instructors(for the clinical courses). I do wish they didn’t focus SO much on the DNP capstone.

DNP program
I was sponsored by my hospital in this program. We were required to work during the program. All costs were covered by the hospital. It was the first year the program was open so there was a large learning curve for the instructors. I only had to find 2 preceptors and that was only because I wanted specialized clinicals based on interest. I feel the program prepared me well for my role as a nurse practitioner.

Nursing Leadership
Elms provided preceptor coverage which was very helpful and less stressful knowing that it was secured. Program had a strong focus on nursing leadership. At the time, clinical hours were more than other programs which was helpful with learning and networking.
