- Would recommend NP program Great program with a small, close knit cohort allowing students to focus on their preparation and matriculation to becoming a NP. The faculty genuinely care and are available to students for concerns in addition to role models as actively practicing NPs. As a student commuting from out of town, I was responsible for identifying and securing my own clinical placements in which the school helped with completing the legal contracts. - Alum
- Required lots of self teaching Program was fair at best. Some instructors had not practiced in a clinical setting in many years and were not up to date on current practice standards. I had to secure my own preceptors. My experience was many years ago. Hopefully has improved. - Alum
- WTAMU FNP Master's Program This was a very well organized program that prepared me for my next career as an NP. It offered a hybrid program approach that has continued to develop over the years. I would recommend this program to any Nurse considering expanding their career. Affordable and allowed me to work, be a mother and complete school requirements simultaneously. - Alum
- WTAMU Masters Program is worth the time and money It was new to the school at time of taking courses for Masters. We were In a year of lots of transitions. Classes were taught well. Organized. Biggest issue was finding preceptors in community. Had to look outside of community in rural clinics also a To get all hours done - Alum
