Didn't help with precept placement.
Didn't help find clinical. Didn't prepare for steps to do board or get license. Felt like I taught myself everything. Not guided well. Did hybrid online and class at oakbrook. All paper charting. We were only 2nd cohort

Preceptor Placement
Biggest issue is finding a preceptor while managing course load. Preparation and experience differs greatly when you don't find a decent preceptor.

Convenient and affordable, prepared me well.
Olivet was a great choice for me due to the combination of online and in person training. I was fortunate enough to have a lot of contacts in primary care medicine so scheduling my own clinicals was a breeze. Others without that background had a harder time finding clinical placement through the University. The coursework was challenging but not overwhelming and the block scheduling of classes allowed for great focus in specific areas one at a time. The certification prep was great and helped me pass the FNP exam without any concerns.
