  • UTC FNP program I felt that the program prepared me well for work as a family practice nurse practitioner. I did not get a lot of assistance with finding a preceptor until my last semester. My instructor helped me greatly and I loved working at the VA and learned a lot. The class time and work load were fairly easy to manage with my research job. I don't think that I could have done as well working as an ER nurse. - Alum
