9 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Could use some improvements, but overall good There were a lot of things about this program I liked, and several things I didn't like. At the time I was in the program, we were responsible to find our own preceptors which was very time consuming and daunting. I did receive help with this on one occasion where I could not find a preceptor. - Alum
- Great program I love the professors. They were very helpful in helping me find a preceptor and were always available to me when I had questions or concerns. - Alum
- It was great! I worked 24 hrs per week during my NP program. It was a very busy time getting in hours needed & studying, but well worth it! The teachers there were all amazingly helpful & knowledgeable. I would recommend many times again! - Alum
- Excellent program A former student made themself available for precepting . The hour drive to clinical site and experience was worth it. Requirement documentation for each clinical day was beneficial and not just busy work. Instructors were very helpful and motivating. Our textbook was very good. I felt prepared when I went to clinicals. The therapy portion of the program was difficult to find a preceptor but I found it very beneficial to me when I started working. Cost was reasonable and use of blackboard for discussions beneficial. Good program. - Alum
- WKU has a wonderful NP program WKU has an excellent program and definitely worth the time and money investment. My preceptorship was great as well. I chose not to work full time during my masters because I had my son between my bachelors and my masters program but would have otherwise. I recommend WKUs NP to those seeking to become a Nurse Practitioner hands down. - Alum
