7 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- King University I graduated in 2017, unfortunately the program did not assist at all with preceptor placement which was horrific. The program also did not have any job fair or suggestions after graduation for a job that allowed new graduates. It took me several YEARS to find a job after graduation as every single interview wanted someone with experience. The program otherwise was amazing. The instructors were wonderful. - Alum
- Graduate experience I was able to navigate through the bulk of precepting while still working an 8-5 job Monday through Friday, with the exception of the final semester. I completed the bulk of precepting in the final semester and went to part time work. I am grateful for this program and their supportive staff. This program is excellent. - Alum
- The professors were invested in education My professors were amazing. They were knowledgeable and invested in the education process. I was responsible for obtaining preceptors throughout the program on my own. - Alum
- King University My program was in person and online. I went to school once a week for a large part of the day and did the rest online. I was only able to work part time in my nursing job during the program because of my clinical requirements but overall the workload was manageable. The school did not help find clinical placement. The teachers were great and I feel they did a good job preparing us for work and boards. They did not help with job placement and our area was pretty saturated with new NPs so it made finding a job harder but I did find one quickly after graduation and passing boards. - Alum
- Great school I loved my time with King. I was able to obtain multiple degrees and be well prepared for certification exams after each degree. In terms of preceptors, each student was required to find there own for each rotation. This is the worst part of this degree {FNP} and at one point they would not allow students to pay for preceptors. I believe it has become easier now but back then it was difficult to find preceptors. - Alum
