- I was very real prepared for boards in my career I was well prepared for my boards in my career. The program was a family atmosphere. No worries. I still have contact with him years later. I couldn’t recommend them more flexibility and quality of program. - Alum
- Excellent education and skills training. Educational program had excellent support and hands on training from the educators. With the program’s reputation, I had no problem connecting with preceptors. I was well prepared to pass my certification exam, job interview , and my role as a Family NP. - Alum
- School. I had a good experience at OU. Most of the teachers were very helpful with anything needed. They were very understanding of the work/family/school balance and tried to help. As far as preceptors, we did have to find our own. Overall, I was well prepared to go into the work force. - Alum
- Part time program was worth the work/life balance I completed the part-time program in three years, managing to work full-time while balancing classes, clinicals, and studying. I chose a traditional brick-and-mortar school because I wanted to connect with my classmates and professors on a personal level. Even five years after graduation, I still keep in touch with many of them. Looking back, I feel fortunate to have received a superior education compared to some friends who pursued online programs. - Alum
- Brace yourself I worked part time while I attended NP school (I took 3 years instead of the usual 2.5). I had 4 young children and a husband. I still had those when I finished but only by the grace of God. It was very difficult to manage all the course work, clinicals, work and my family BUT I had a great career and would highly recommend it still. I learned a lot more after I graduated than before, but I still had good core prep and skills. I passed the certification exams easily. Preceptors were a mix- some good, some awful. But they were real world. - Alum
