12 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Gonzaga review I was in first class for nurse practitioners. I think it was a learning experience for both staff and students. I did distance learning as was working 180 mikes from Spokane. As students we had to seek out our own practicing sites in our communities with not a lot of guidance. But it either well anyway. I wish they had provided an anatomy snd physiology review in the curriculum as we all came from varied nursing experiences. It had been several years since our college days. Very little focus on the certification exam which was tough but we got through first time. I think they learned a lot from the first class and have made changes. I did enjoy my time and did learn a lot; however I had a lot of on the job training from some good providers. I would recommend the program - Alum
- Loved the distance learning. Pros--learning focused on what I needed to learn and could design clinicals to match my needs in Bush Alaska when I started the program then in Hawaii and back in rural Idaho by the time i completed the program. Great flexibility Cons- expensive but sense I worked in rural areas got loan forgiveness for work - Alum
- Great education However, this program was very expensive. The program was comprehensive and accommodating to a working family and student relationship - Alum
- Gonzaga NP program I completed my program in the early 2000s. Was mostly distance learning with a campus visit every quarter. I participated in a grant to assist nursing MSN faculty with research and report writing. Awesome experience!! Designed my clinical experiences with conventional and alt medicine practitioners which helped me develop an integrative practice. As an adult with many years of nursing experience the cost at the time was alot and the loan repayment took about 15 years. Not the best financial move. However the Jesuit education was priceless!!! - Alum
- quality education that prepared me well for I graduated from Gonzaga’s FNP program in 2013. I left the program well prepared to enter the workforce and felt my education was an excellent value for the career that it prepared before. At that time they did not help to find preceptors and that was a significant barrier in many ways. - Alum
