4 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Review Great project. Love the students and atmosphere. The program was applicable to my life and schedule. Educators were nice and friendly, helpful. Would definitely go back. Prepared me for NP school. Especially being a black female. I work at the VA and I feel prepared to complete all tasks out before me. Instructors took the time to work with you. - Alum
- Loved The program was for the most part well structured. do wish that they assisted you in finding more clinical sites. I do think the program is fairly priced compared to some of my local schools. The instructors were very supportive and communicated well. - Alum
- My Journey at UA Finding Peds and OBGYN preceptors was the most difficult. I actually thought I was going to have to defer a semester due to not finding placement. God's timing was perfect though and it all worked out. I did have to travel an hour commute to and from the OBGYN clinical but it wasn't that bad. Overall, the program was amazing and taught me so much. I am so thankful I chose to continue my journey for my Master's. I recommended several coworkers and friends to apply for this program and actually have someone who is graduating this May 2025. - Alum
- Solid education supportive faculty I chose University Of Alabama over other programs because of the cost and quality of education. I was looking for a school with a solid history and reputation where I would get support to successfully complete my degree while working. The faculty in the graduate nursing programs have years of experience and are very supportive and available when you need them. I felt more than prepared when I sat for boards 2 weeks after graduation The only thing I found could be a negative and that was challenging was securing preceptors as I live in Florida and the school is in Alabama. They do give you a list of preceptors that other students have used in the past but most on the list had no openings. I ended up paying for a preceptor for 2 semesters and felt it was worth the money. The preceptors I was able to secure had years of experience and were very helpful. Overall I would highly recommend UA to anyone seeking a Masters or doctorate in nursing. - Alum
