3 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- IUK: Good program for NP The IUK program arranged placement for all my clinicals including women’s health and pediatrics. They also arranged unique rotations like ortho spine, oncology, and pulmonology. However the growth and learning opportunities varied The work load was manageable throughout. The professors and directors at the time were knowledgeable and helpful. However, to be truly prepared for the workforce, independent study is needed. - Alum
- Great program IUK FNP program was well organized, I was prepared adequately to step into my role fresh out of school. Teachers were helpful and always took time to help when needed. Best decision I ever made to attend IUK. - Alum
- Indiana University Kokomo FNP This is neither a full-time or part-time program, somewhere in between. I was able to work part-time even with doing clinicals. For the most part, they help find clinical placement for you which is incredibly helpful. Preceptors within IU are used to students and are willing to teach. The courses are incredibly challenging and the exam preparation throughout the program prepares you for boards. When I attended there was a mandatory pass requirement on exams which pushed me to study harder. While an incredibly hard program, I would definitely recommend it to anyone because it is making me a better provider - Alum
