- Affordable Pros - Most affordable on campus nurse practitioner program in Maryland. Cons - None identified - Alum
- Overall good experience Overall I had a good experience in this program. The professors are supportive, helpful, and easily contacted. Getting paired with a clinical preceptor was challenging at times. Administrative tasks within the graduate school could be addressed in a more timely manner. I did feel prepared for my certification exam. - Alum
- Lack of resources There was little to no assistance with preceptorship placement. No preparation for the work as an NP nor preparation to obtain first job - Alum
- My Experience FNP program I had an amazing experience. The professors where every knowledgeable on the subject taught. Topics were relevant. It was conductive for working (part-time) and attending classes. I was able to find preceptors local to my home which was out of the Baltimore area. I felt well prepared to practice and work independently as a provider. Cons- It took almost 2 years for my credits to transfer from University of Maryland (master's program) which almost held up my graduation. - Alum
