Overall good experience
I feel as though the education was great, and I felt prepared to start working as a nurse practitioner. However, finding a preceptor on my own without much support was quite stressful.

Good experience
I was looking for a program to get me from a BSN to DNP straight which DePaul offered. It was good overall however I wish I had more support with finding clinical placement.

BSN to DNP program
Many classes used old material that circulated around, syllabus not updated to reflect due dates, had to frequently communicate with professors to discuss these discrepancies. Very few good quality professors in DNP program. Little to no help in securing placement, COVID made it harder. NP education and clinical experience needs to be standardized.

DePaul
DePaul has a great masters to entry into nursing practice program and then bridge to NP post years work as an RN.
This was a good program and prepared me well both for boards and for clinical practice.
