- Highly Recommend I felt well prepared for my first role as an NP, which I was able to secure as a new grad in a very competitive specialty. UB finds your clinicals for you, which is invaluable. Poor accommodations or understanding for working students with families. Pros: Highly regarded institution and program Best in the area for preparation for practice and boards Cons: Poor support for individuals with families Poor communication - Alum
- Great professors and preceptors I learned a lot from my professors and clinical preceptors. Clinical sites and preceptors are arranged by the school, which was great. - Alum
- Strong FNP Program UB has one of the strongest NP programs in the Western NY region. Graduates of the UB FNP program are strongly sought after for employment post-graduation. Would highly recommend the NP programs at UB, which are now DNP programs. - Alum
- Excellent program The program set me up for success. I was able to manage working part time while in the program and graduate with a honors degree. The pediatric program had a small class size that was conducive to my learning needs. I was able to secure a spot for all my precepting placements without much difficulty. I was very happy with the program but wish they would have not stopped the program. A PNP program is necessary in Buffalo since we have a children’s hospital here as well a many pediatric out patient clinics and primary care offices that need pediatric specialists! - Alum
- University at Buffalo University at Buffalo School of Nursing made it very easy to get clinical that I didn't have to pay for. The clinical staff and locations were great. - Alum
