I went to SDSU for both undergrad and grad school. I felt very prepared for my career as a nurse practitioner. When I see the academic preparation others get from different programs, I'm reminded what a great program SDSU has.

Good but busy
I was well prepared for the exam and practice but it was a lot of work while I was doing it and more clinical hours than other programs at that time. However, it was worth it in the end as I was well prepared.

SDSU Instructors
Appreciated instructors that worked as NPs. I felt the review of the thesis should have had faculty that had updated their statistics criteria and knowledge of the subject matter.

SDSU DNP
I completed the SDSU DNP program and felt the program is much better than some of the online schools. We were prepared in understanding research and being a state school more likely to be hired in the area. Although there are some limitations in the school including lack of dissection anatomy and limited sub-specialty training options.
