- Supportive Program From the moment that I was accepted and even before I was accepted into the program, I felt very supported by staff. Questions were always answered . Good learning environment. - Alum
- Great program The program was expensive but I felt I had a good education for the money and I liked that I felt well supported even though it was all online. The lectures could be long but they prepared me well. Some more guidance with preceptorships would have been helpful, there was absolutely none but there was good support for help troubleshooting preceptorship issues - Alum
- Instructors were excellent. Excellent instructors during my time. It was done online and I’m in a different state so there was no help to find preceptors or clinical locations. There was also no aid in job placement as well - Alum
- UC MSN NP program I loved the program. I was working full-time as an RN and pregnant with my second child, and I felt I could do this because most of the lectures were recorded. I'm sure it's vastly different now than in 2012-2014! Preceptor placement is where they failed; we 100% were on our own, and I knew several people who had to delay their graduation because they couldn't find either peds or OB/Gyn. Hopefully, that has changed. Many schools in the city pay for preceptors, I think UC needs to get on board with this if they haven't already! - Alum
- Quality Accessible Affordable Education I chose this program because it is a reputable, top-50–ranked online MSN program that is also affordable. The school provides a list of preceptorship facilities and individuals with existing contracts; however, there is no placement support for out-of-state students. Many of the listed sites have extended waitlists, some exceeding two years, requiring students to submit requests well in advance and follow up regularly. While I was ultimately able to secure placement with one of the contracted facilities, several classmates had to pay out of pocket for preceptorships due to limited availability. - Alum
