- Keiser review If you have a strong foundation in the medical field prior to this I think you can be successful in this program. Like any online program you can expect to teach yourself majority of the content. If you read and truly invest time in the provided assignments it will fill the gaps needed to advance through your career. I was able to work through the entire program mostly full time but went PRN when I had do my clinicals. I just accepted the fact that my world revolved around school and work without any down time for 1+ years. It was a lot of busy work in the beginning but again, this is expected when you choose to do an online program. I had 8 years bedside experience before becoming an NP which I feel made a significant difference for this type of program. I would not recommend an online program to anyone that does not have at least 5 years of RN experience prior to even applying. If you’re willing to put the work in, it’s not a bad program overall. - Alum
- Keiser NP great choice Small class structure. Excellent support systems. Hands on clinical training. Great preparation for boards - Alum
- Preceptorship Hurdles Overall, the program is well structured but there seems to be confusion and disorganization when it comes to some aspects. There is no support for preceptor placement with the exception of an outdated spreadsheet of facilities that have agreements with the school. Given the current healthcare climate, preceptorship was a major hurdle in completing the program for many. This was either due to costs affiliated with preceptor’s time or the limited space available. - Alum
