9 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Such a great school! I would go back if I could! I worked per diem as a bedside RN while doing my clinical hours for the NP program. - Alum
- Great experience I had a great experience throughout my program. All the professors were truly amazing, with extensive knowledge and experience. - Alum
- Many preceptor options within my local community I was able to complete 100% of my clinical within my city which allowed me to continue with my employment. - Alum
- Quality Education I chose the MSN-e track in which I came in with a bachelors in another field and completed my RN then progressed to my MSN and FNP. I felt like our education as nurses was excellent - I was well-prepared to be an RN. The RN program was in person but the rest of the program was distance other than seminar weekends. Because WUHS has multiple disciplines, we also had opportunities to collaborate with other specialties. I participated in the cadaver lab with med students. Because it has the NP portion remote, we had to find our own preceptors but I was able to get plugged in through my own experience in the community. I love what I do and am glad I chose this program. I felt prepared to enter practice and supported throughout the program. It is a private school so more expensive but they helped me get a grant to cover the last year. - Alum
- Excellent Clinical Rotations WU assisted with initial placement that covered adults, SUD and AUD. I had to find my own adolescent and geri-psych rotations to meet hours, which delayed graduation, but worth the extra time to get excellent rotations and WU allowed the extra semester for these premium clinical experiences. - Alum
