- MCPHS Staff turnover and abrupt changes to curriculum and clinical requirements made it a stressful experience. - Alum
- overall good program! overall this was a good program. as with many others, the preceptorship placement was significantly lacking. its affordable and the workload is manageable. I did feel confident taking my certification exam after graduation. - Alum
- Great school It was a very difficult program but totally paid off in the end. I feel the school prepared me well for my role as an NP. I only wish school can help students with preceptorship. I had to seek preceptorship agencies to find preceptors for specialties e.g., women’s health and pediatric. Upon completion of the program, I felt confident in my role as an NP. I definitely feel that having had extensive experience as a bedside nurse in acute care helped me a lot through the program and boost my confidence once I started practicing as a new NP. - Alum
- Great experience I enjoyed the program. It was a 24-month program so it was accelerated but I was able to only cut my hours at work from 36 to 30hr/week. Finding the preceptorship was entirely on us to figure out. There was some assistance through the school but mostly it was on each student to figure it out. The online program was the easiest way for me to continue working because I could look at the lectures when I had time and book my exams for when I had time also. It was definitely difficult being an accelerated program but I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is an experienced nurse and is motivated to learn at a fast pace. - Alum
- Rewarding Experience Program was great, challenging for sure, but universities like this keep the profession from becoming too diluted. If you want to be a PMHNP this is the place to go. - Alum
