10 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Great program but need more preceptor contacts Received absolutely no help in securing preceptor spots. The program is intense but very good. Having to find my own spots caused me a lot more stress than necessary. Excellent teachers, great program other than lack of preceptors. - Alum
- University of Toledo There were options to be set up with a preceptor, however, there was not enough preceptors for students. Most of us found the preceptor sites on our own and then got permission to precept there from the university. The class size was manageable enough for 1-2 professors, and small enough to know us by name. We helped each other along the way and made great friendships. - Alum
- FNP at Toledo I went through the University of Toledo FNP program. I went as a full time student directly from their BSN program. I was able to work contingent at a local hospital during my full time msn program without problem. The program gave me a good foundation for my subsequent NP positions. I am currently employed in a dermatology practice and also speak/consult for Pharma companies. So glad I went and got my FNP immediately after my BSN. - Alum
- Review I enjoyed my experience at UT. I think having classes in person vs online was important in learning the role as a NP. I felt very prepared for boards. Passed on the first try. - Alum
- Great Program for an Experienced RN Most of my classes were very good. I would have loved pharmacology and pathophysiology and physical assessment to specifically pediatric focused. Preceptor placement support could have been easier. - Alum
