• Not my best experience My first meeting with my advisor entailed a conversation in which she told me what I could not do/accomplish... all while meeting me for the first time. The didactic was great but clinical was a different experience and I had no support from the dean when I explained the situation. Essentially I had to find an NP on the assigned unit who was actually interested in precepting a student despite the fact I was assigned to someone else. I'm forever grateful to you Ms. JG. - Alum
• Great clinic rotations and education I felt will supported and had great clinical experiences. I was able to easily pass certification after graduation and obtain a career in my desired practice area. Would highly recommend. - Alum

• University of Rochester Prepared me well I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the UR obtaining my WHNP. I felt supported and had amazing professors. I felt very prepared to begin my first job and felt the significance of attending a prestigious school because my first positions were in WA and ID where professionals recognized the university. My preceptors were varied and provided excellent clinical learning. I graduated many years ago so the SON did placements for students in varied settings. - Alum
• Not the best but it will do No exams only open book quizzes no formal lectures on topics is most of my classes I ended up having to read 2 certification review books cover to cover and do over 1,000 practice questions to prepare for my certification. Most of it wasn’t even touched on in the program. I’m glad I did it so I could get my degree but the program was not great. - Alum
